So the formula is simple: before the three-week vacation, you plant the garden, fill the tank with water - and then when you get home from the trip all you have to do is harvest the crops!
(P.S.: if your plants have already developed before the holiday, expect that the total amount of water will only be enough for 1.5-2 weeks.)
