A bit of history
GAMMO EUROPE was established in 2012 in Budapest with a vision to combine providing high-quality kitchen equipment to professional chefs with efficient e-commerce solutions. Initially operating one webshop (for the Hungarian market), later entering several markets in the European Union, this company forged its path to success.
In the past 13 years, the turnover has been constantly growing, reaching 4 million EUR in 2024. The initial staff, consisting of two people, expanded to 20 people, most working in the Customer Service and Logistics departments. The company is still Budapest-based; however, its foreign customers have the majority by now (57% of sales goes to export).
The reason for such a dynamic export growth is that we provide native-speaking Customer service in English, German, Czech, Slovak, Romanian, and Croatian/Serbian languages, besides our original Hungarian service. All the above countries have a separate, localized webshop (gammo.eu for English-speaking customers) so customers may gather all the information that is necessary for a convenient and fast shopping experience.
